The Way of Salvation A-B-C

A. Acknowledge yourself as a sinner.

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23)

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9)

“The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.” (Psalms 58:3)

“All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” (Isaiah 53:6)

“For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.” (James 2:10)

“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.” (Romans 3:10-12)

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3)

“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

B. Believe in Christ.

“But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

“And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” (Acts 16:31)

“I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” (Luke 5:32)

“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” (Luke 13:3)

“Or despisest thou the riches of His goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that
the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?” (Romans 2:4)

“But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through His name.” (John 20:31)

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6)

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17)

“To Him give all the prophets witness, that through His name whosoever believeth in Him shall receive
remission of sins.” (Acts 10:43)

C. Confess Jesus Christ as Savior

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9)

“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:10)

“Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.” (1 John 4:15)

“And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds.” (Acts 19:18)

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)

“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know
that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” (1 John 5:13)

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)

“And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them
out of My hand. My Father, which gave them Me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them
out of my Father’s hand.” (John 10:28-29)
